The CDISC Controlled Terminology is the set of CDISC-developed or CDISC-adopted standard expressions (values) used with data items within CDISC-defined datasets.

The CDISC Terminology Team, in collaboration with the US National Cancer Institute’s Enterprise Vocabulary Services, supports the controlled terminology needs of all CDISC Foundational Standards (SDTM (Drugs and Devices), CDASH, ADaM, SEND) and all CFAST disease/therapeutic area standards.

  • _ AdClin holds and maintains an historisation of the CDISC Controlled Terminology files (updates), meaning that at any point of time, we may deliver the most appropriate terminology snapshot across the SDTM and ADaM packages that we deliver to our customers. This service is unique!
  • _ Conversely, depending on the context and submission requirements, we may otherwise apply the relevant time-based Controlled Terminology snapshot to your particular clinical datasets / databases. Up to you to decide….
